💡 Farm Tip: Don't use boiling water! Temperatures above 95°F can destroy the beneficial enzymes in raw honey. Let boiling water cool for 2-3 minutes before adding honey.

Instructions

Basic Method

  1. Heat water to just below boiling (you should see small bubbles forming but not a rolling boil). Or let boiling water sit for 2-3 minutes to cool slightly.
  2. Pour hot water into your favorite mug.
  3. Add fresh lemon juice and any optional ingredients (except honey).
  4. Let steep for 3-5 minutes if using ginger, herbs, or tea.
  5. Stir in raw honey until dissolved.
  6. Garnish with lemon slices.
  7. Sip slowly and enjoy!

Cold & Flu Fighter Version

  1. Add 3-4 slices fresh ginger to your mug.
  2. Pour hot water over ginger and let steep 5 minutes.
  3. Add lemon juice, honey, and a pinch of cayenne.
  4. Stir well and drink while hot.

  1. Use chamomile tea bag instead of plain water.
